Mendel Kupfer, MD
Dr. Mendel Kupfer joined the staff of Magee Rehabilitation Hospital in August of 2006 upon completion of residency training at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital where he served as Academic Chief Resident. Dr. Kupfer is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine. He is an Assistant Professor of Rehabilitation Medicine at Jefferson Medical College and the Assistant Residency Program Director for the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine. Dr. Kupfer attended medical school at Tel Aviv University Sackler School of Medicine and holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Neuroscience from the University of Pittsburgh.
Dr. Kupfer’s clinical focus is in spinal cord injury, sports medicine and tone management. He has published in peer reviewed journals and actively participates in resident physician education. Dr. Kupfer is a member of multiple professional organizations and is a fellow of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
