National Patient Recognition Week

It’s National Patient Recognition Week! During this week, healthcare providers, and all other people who come into contact with or provide services for patients, take time to seriously reflect on their stewardship of patient care and their dedication to patient satisfaction.

001 (2)At Magee, our staff will take this opportunity to recommit to providing the highest standards in patient-centered care by demonstrating our REACH Behaviors (Respect, Excellence, Attitude, Collaboration and Hospitality), to ensure the safety and satisfaction of all of our patients.

“What Magee Patients and Family Members Mean to Me” Project: Throughout this week and next, the interns from Guest Relations will be asking staff and volunteers for their quotes about how patients and family members inspire them, about their dedication to patient-centered care and what working at Magee means to them. Those who give quotes will have their photo taken, which will be displayed, along with their quote, on Friday outside of the dining room.

The Guest Relations and Volunteer Services department is launching some new projects and patient activities during this week.  As we honor our patients, this week and beyond, we share our gratitude with our patients and families for choosing Magee for their rehabilitative care.
