Magee is teaming up with HelpHOPELive to answer YOUR questions about spinal cord injury rehab and the latest research in SCI! Join us for our first ever live tweet chat on Friday, May 30 from 12 – 1 p.m. EST using hashtag #HHLchat.
During this tweet chat, Magee’s Spinal Cord Injury Program director Mary Schmidt-Read will be answering your questions about rehab after spinal cord injury, from short-term goals to lifelong wellness. As our director of research, she’ll also give you the scoop on the latest in spinal cord injury research… and we gotta say, it’s pretty cool!
You might be thinking to yourself, “This sounds really great, and I would like to attend — but what the heck is a tweet chat and how do I do it?” Glad you asked. Here’s the breakdown.
Step 1: Log-In to Twitter. At 12 p.m. on Friday, go to Twitter.com or log-in to the Twitter app on your smartphone. *Note: You do not need a Twitter account to follow along, but you will need an account to ask questions. If you do not have an account, you can follow the conversation here.
Step 2: Create a search for #HHLchat. In the search bar, enter #HHLchat. This will bring you up a list of all tweets that include this hashtag. Click here to check it out! Right now, there aren’t many tweets — but on Friday from 12 – 1 p.m. EST, there will be tons!
Step 3: Follow along & participate! When the clock strikes noon on Friday, the conversation will begin. All questions and answers will be marked with #HHLchat to make sure they show up in the conversation. The only way to make a tweet chat great is to participate! Feel free to ask questions or provide your feedback — just make sure you include #HHLchat in your tweets so we can see and respond!
