Pennsylvania Governor Ed Rendell has once again agreed to serve as Honorary Chairman for the Jerry Segal Classic Golf Outing to benefit Magee Rehabilitation Hospital in Philadelphia.

This year’s Jerry Segal Classic, which is celebrating its 21st anniversary, will be held September 24 at the Ace Club&Green Valley Country Club.

In years past, Governor Rendell has been known to step in as the event’s guest auctioneer, cajoling bids from attendees on everything from sports memorabilia to exotic trips. He has also been known to surprise attendees by adding experiences like watching Phillies playoff games or World Series games in the Governor’s box.

To date, the Jerry Segal Classic has raised over $9 million dollars for Magee.
