More than 20 years ago, Jerry Segal became a patient at Magee Rehabilitation after neck surgery sent him there with quadriplegia. He defied the odds and walked when doctors told him it was impossible. Now, the Philadelphia attorney visits patients at the hospital and the annual fundraiser he and his wife started has raised more than $7.7 million for the patients. Segal has made a tremendous difference in the lives of Magee patients.

Magee Rehabilitation Hospital, founded in 1958, is a 96-bed specialty medical rehabilitation hospital providing physical and cognitive rehabilitation services.
