Magee Rehabilitation Hospital recently named Parvati Thiru, M.D., to its staff of physicians. Dr. Thiru will work as a hospitalist and internal medicine consultant. She comes to Magee from Albert Einstein Hospital, where she was an attending physician.

Magee Rehabilitation Hospital presented its 19th Annual Humanitarian Award to Joseph A. Frick, President/CEO of Independence Blue Cross and raised an event-record $154,000 for Magee's patients.
