The Jerry Segal Classic to benefit Magee Rehabilitation Hospital in Philadelphia is scheduled for Friday, Sept. 21, 2012 at the ACE Golf Club, and the Green Valley Country Club, both on Ridge Pike in Lafayette Hill.
The Jerry Segal Classic is the Greater Philadelphia Regions largest one-day charity golf event. For over 20 years the Classic has raised over $10 million. Because the Classic is run by volunteers there are no administrative costs so every penny goes to the patients of Magee.
All proceeds benefit programs and services for individuals with disabilities at Magee Rehabilitation Hospital. Magee, a non-profit health organization, provides lifetime rehabilitation and wellness programs for persons with spinal cord injury, brain injury, stroke, amputation, orthopedic injury, geriatric illness and work injury.
The Classic begins with shotgun starts at 9:45 a.m. at ACE and 10:45 a.m. at Green Valley. The event includes brunch, golf, a cocktail hour with grand hors
d'oeuvres and live and silent auctions.
