Magee Presents Doin’ Da Butt

If you are a wheelchair user, you know just how important skin care is to your overall health. In fact, one of the leading complications people with paralysis will face throughout their lifetimes is skin-related: pressure ulcers.

Pressure ulcers are wounds caused by the constant pressure on the skin that comes from staying in one position for too long. People who use wheelchairs or those who stay in bed are extremely susceptible. But the good news is most pressure ulcers are preventable.

How, you ask? Magee patient and 61 North guitarist Ryan “Gooch” Nelson and his friends at Magee are here to show you how to keep pressure ulcers at bay – by Doin’ Da Butt. Check it out!
