Former Patient Recording Debut Album in Nashville

Lenny MartelliRight now, former patient Lenny Martelli is packing his bags for Nashville, Tennessee – not for summer vacation but to get down to the business of recording his debut country music album. Six years ago, an accident left Lenny with a spinal cord injury when he was just 16 years old. A punctured lung and paralyzed diaphragm meant the lifelong musician had to teach himself how to sing all over again.

Lenny tells his story in his own words in the video below.

Once he’s finished recording, Lenny plans to donate a percentage of his debut album sales to Magee. “The fight for a better life is never over for people who suffer from a disability like a spinal cord injury,” Lenny says.
