Valentine’s Day is something we just love to celebrate here at Magee! Each year, students from Friends Select create hand-made valentines for our patients. The students put their creative energy into making heart-shaped, colorful and sparkly get well wishes for out patients.
To welcome the holiday, the cards were delivered today by Drexel Co-Op Interns Jennifer Rios (Guest Relations and Volunteer Services) and Siddhi Mittal (Clinical Support Nursing). On Saturday, February 13, Siddhi is hosting a Valentine making workshop in the 2nd floor conference room from 10 a.m. – noon for all patients and families to create one-of-a-kind Valentines for the special someones in their life. On Saturday, February 13, there will be a special music performance by Tina and Ian Brand in the dining room 5:30-6:30 PM.
