Art Therapy Decks the Halls at Magee

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas at Magee (even if it might not feel like the holidays yet with 60-degree temperatures outside!)

All week long, patients have gathered for ornament making sessions with Magee’s Art Therapist Julie Nolan. While beautifying Magee, the patients are also working toward their therapy goals. Recreational therapy and occupational therapy used the the ornament making as opportunities for co-treatment sessions. Once their creations were complete, the patients decided whether to hang their ornaments on the tree on their floor, in the Magee lobby, or in their own rooms.
